Who developed AROHA® ?

Bernhard Jakszt is a fitness expert and an international presenter, who has a 2nd degree in physical education. He developed the group fitness program AROHA and KAHA.

Bernhard leads Aroha in collaboration with sports physicians and physiotherapists, he has developed new elements for the program, turning it into more of a health sport and giving it the name AROHA PHYSIO DYNAMICS.
In addition to that AROHA STICK and SHORT STICK has been introduced, a variation that is being performed for the very first time worldwide. Aroha Stick is taught in the Aroha Advanced Training, AROHA SHORT STICK in the Trainer`s Day Training.

What is AROHA® ?
Aroha is a mix between controlled, expressive and powerful motion and relaxing movements taken from the martial arts. 
These elements together with a simple basic step moving to the left and right or backwards and forwards, are combined with a constant controlled bending and stretching of the knee and hip.
This new health fitness work out which trains body, mind and soul, gives you a general feeling of well-being.   
The speciality of Aroha is the continuous alternating of moves involving tension and relaxation.
The training is of average intensity, low-impact and easy to follow.
It has a positive effect on the cardiovascular system and is an ideal fat and calorie killer. Beginners can be of any age group or fitness level. 
The music has been especially composed for Aroha in a 3/4 beat in order to create an exceptional atmosphere.
Haka expresses the strength within. 
Kung Fu gives the programme its body control including the imitation of animals and offense and defense poses. 
Thai Chi gives the program its flowing movements.
